When these particles hit our atmosphere, it creates the beautiful and eerie colorful glow know commonly as the Northern Lights. Sunday’s eruption was the first major solar event recorded in almost a decade, as the sun has been quietly inactive of late.

I know, I know. This is a little off subject for this blog but I am proud to post this video of my brother-in-law and the amazing work he does for buildOn.
His name is Skyler Badenoch and is the brother of my wife Jillian. We had the honor of accompanying him to Nicaragua to help build a school in an extremely poor rural village. What a humbling experience to live with such generous and grateful people who have absolutely nothing.
